Zelenskyy and Trump discussed diplomacy and the recent U.S. pledge to <span><u>allow<\/u><\/span> Ukraine to produce Patriot air defense systems.<\/p><ul><li>Zelenskyy will meet with senators this evening ahead of the chamber\u2019s procedural vote on Russia sanctions. He\u2019s hoping to persuade as many Democrats as possible to sign on to the measure despite a provision expanding Trump\u2019s tariff authority on countries that purchase Russian energy products.<\/li><\/ul>\n<p>Trump\u2019s meeting with Netanyahu \u2014 the pair\u2019s first since the Iran war began \u2014 was closed to the press.
