The Office of Management and Budget was tasked with creating guidelines for enforcing the ban, with exceptions for \u201claw enforcement activities\u201d and \u201cnational security interests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTikTok is no longer a \u2018covered application\u2019 for purposes of the No TikTok on Government Devices Act,\u201d OMB Director Russell Vought wrote in the short memo.<\/p><p>TikTok did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the policy
