Will the footage ever be released?<\/p>\n<p><b>Probably not,<\/b> <span><u>NOTUS\u2019 Martin Austermuhle and Zara Norman report<\/u><\/span>. The incident, which took place in a Fairfax County office park Monday after <b>Carolina Molina<\/b> yelled at ICE agents from her car, has sparked a wider discussion about transparency. they only care about themselves and protecting the administration and its immigration overreach,\u201d Democratic Rep. <b>Suhas Subramanyam<\/b>, Molina\u2019s representative, told NOTUS.<\/p><p><b>Though Molina recorded video of the incident herself,<\/b> Subramanyam is demandingDHS release the body camera footage and said the agent should face criminal charges. But accountability might be difficult to come by.<\/p><p><b>\u201cWhen you see federal agents violating someone\u2019s rights,<\/b> there should be an avenue to seek relief in court,\u201d an attorney specializing in police conduct for a libertarian institute told NOTUS. \u201cBut there is very little to be done, and we\u2019ve had to piece together novel theories to restore some avenue for federal accountability. The federal government has no interest in holding itself accountable no matter how egregious the behavior is.\u201d<\/p><h2><b>FROM THE DISTRICT<\/b><\/h2><p><b>The Department of Justice is feuding with the D.C. Council <\/b>over a request by the council that governors who have sent National Guard troops withdraw them by Sept. 1. Council members say keeping the troops in D.C. is expensive and question their public safety value.
