President Donald Trump vows<\/u><\/span> to \u201cmake America healthy again.\u201d<\/p>\n

But one of Trump\u2019s golf courses risked making patrons sick, New York state health records indicate.<\/p>\n

A Dutchess County health inspector flagged the Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Hopewell Junction, New York, for a \u201ccritical violation\u201d at its restaurant, according to New York State Department of Health inspection records from April 16.<\/p>\n

The violation stems from the restaurant having \u201cfood from [an] unapproved source, spoiled, adulterated on premises,\u201d the inspection record states.<\/p>\n

It also dinged the Trump restaurant for a \u201cnon-critical\u201d violation involving \u201cin use\u201d food dispensing utensils being \u201cimproperly stored.\u201d<\/p>\n

On its website, the Trump golf club advertises its \u201cdelicious cuisine\u201d as being \u201cprepared by the Club\u2019s culinary staff led by a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neither the Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley nor The Trump Organization, which owns and operates the club, immediately responded to requests for comment from NOTUS.<\/p>\n

Several Trump properties have been hit with health code violations in the past year.<\/p>\n

In December, Chicago health inspectors found flies, faulty dishwashers and wastewater flooding the floor of the main kitchen around three prep sinks at the Trump International Hotel and Tower, according to city health records first reported by NOTUS<\/u><\/span>.<\/p>\n

When health inspectors returned a week later, the restaurants had resolved the issues, although an inspector again instructed management to replace a broken ice machine lid.<\/p>\n

In November, Westchester County Department of Health officials found insects and rodents at the Trump National Golf Club Westchester, according to state health data first reported by NOTUS<\/u><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The unwelcome guests comprised one of five violations cited by health inspectors, who also observed a laundry list of violations including \u201cdirty surfaces,\u201d \u201cpoorly constructed\u201d rooms \u201cin disrepair,\u201d food \u201cuncovered, mislabeled, [and] stored on floor,\u201d and \u201cmissing or inadequate sneeze guards.\u201d<\/p>\n

And in May 2025, health inspectors flagged 18 health code violations at Trump\u2019s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. The golf club manager said at the time that the citations were \u201cpolitically motivated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Health inspectors revisited the Bedminster golf club after Forbes first reported<\/u><\/span> on the violations. Inspectors in June 2025<\/u><\/span> revised the golf club\u2019s score from 32 out of 100, then the lowest grade in Somerset County, to 86.<\/p>\n
