He was also accused of harassing Trump\u2019s former personal lawyer and that lawyer\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>The president has faced a series of high-profile death threats and assasination attempts during the last few years, including an <span><u>attack<\/u><\/span> at a Pennsylvania rally in 2024 and a <span><u>shooting<\/u><\/span> at the White House Correspondents\u2019 Association dinner in April.<\/p><p>\u201cAs threats against President Trump\u2019s life escalate, the Department of Justice will respond with the full force of the law,\u201d Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement this week. \u201cWe will hold perpetrators of violent threats accountable, and anyone who makes these threats online will not be allowed to hide behind their <\/span>\n<\/h3><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>Southworth is accused of expressing hate toward Trump and his supporters through social media channels between January 2026 to May 2026, the U.S. attorney\u2019s office said.<\/p><p>He is accused of sharing the address of Trump\u2019s personal lawyer, as well as photos of their house. Southworth wrote \u201cNo peace for traitors\u201d on the post, the release said. The U.S. Deported Him.<\/a><\/p><p>He is accused of posting a video on April 7 to Instagram, where he said, \u201cThis government is illegitimate and out of control. It\u2019s time for course correction. Kill Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p><p>Southworth <span><u>came out<\/u><\/span> as gay in 2008 while hosting \u201cThe Remix,\u201d a youth show that spotlighted Christian singers.
